Biography:
Mr. Garcia graduated from Pan American University (now the University of Texas-Pan American) with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He was recruited out of college by Conoco Inc. and had initial stints in the oil business in Midland, Texas, and Denver, Colorado, before being transferred to Houston, Texas, where he has spent the last 32 years working as a Land professional. Mr. Garcia has held positions of Landman, Senior Landman, Regional Land Manager, and Vice-President of Land for various companies in the Houston area, including Coastal Oil & Gas Corp., Sanchez-O’Brien Oil & Gas, Edge Petroleum Corp., and Davis Petroleum Corp. Mr. Garcia’s experience with these companies covered areas in the Gulf Coast of Texas, South Louisiana, South Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and the Rocky Mountains. Mr. Garcia has been a past member of the AAPL, HAPL, and DAPL and was also a Certified Professional Landman before retiring in 2008 to pursue other interests. He has joined the staff of Cinco Energy Services as a consultant, as well as recently re-joining the AAPL. Mr. Garcia acts as Manager of Special Projects, where his far-reaching knowledge and experience sheds light on a myriad of complex projects.
Wyatt Fender, CPL, Senior Landman

Biography:
Mr. Fender started working in the production side of the Oil Industry in 1981 after receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Christian University. He was attracted to the land profession by the flexibility and the autonomy that came along with being an independent contractor. Since coming to work at Cinco Energy Services in 1998, he has worked both in the field and in-house, with land projects that include title research, leasing, title curative, surface damages, right-of way, due diligence, contracts administration, operating agreements and dealings with regulatory agencies. Mr. Fender’s extensive knowledge and experience in different areas of the oil industry allow him to manage complex projects effectively. He is a member of the HAPL and AAPL, and has served on the board of the American Petroleum Institute Chapter in Victoria, Texas.
Mike Gibson, RPL, Senior Landman

Biography:
Mr. Gibson graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Stephen F. Austin State University. After a period in athletic sales, Mr. Gibson took a chance in the Energy Industry and has never looked back, loving every minute of it. He has since risen the ranks to become a prominent Project Manager, operating some of Cinco Energy Services’ largest projects. His professionalism, knowledge, and diligence fuel his great relationships on all sides of a client partnership, including mineral owners and field land crews. His comprehension of the nuance of leases, contracts, and provisions give Mr. Gibson a great edge in his dealings in Texas and the Rocky Mountains. Mr. Gibson is a member of the AAPL and HAPL, where he is on the Board of Directors. He is also the former and current Chairman of the annual HAPL Skeet Shoot Committee.
Lara Hawks, Landman, Appalachian Division

Biography:
Ms. Hawks has been with Cinco Energy Services since December, 2004. She has been a field Landman with Cinco Energy Services since March, 2008, and has worked various counties in Texas, West Virginia, Ohio, Illinois and Pennsylvania, as well as various parishes in Louisiana. In 2010 she relocated to Wexford, Pennsylvania, where Cinco Energy Services’ Appalachian District Office is located. Ms. Hawks is currently a member of AAPL and NALA.
Danny McGraw, RPL, Land Manager

Biography:
Mr. McGraw has been employed with Cinco Energy Services since August, 2006. He is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Prior to joining Cinco Energy Services, Mr. McGraw worked in the finance industry. He is now one of our most prolific Project Managers, handling a wide variety of ongoing projects. His superior management skills make Mr. McGraw a leader among his peers and in the community. He is an active member in the AAPL, HAPL, PIOGA, and the Next Generation Landmen. Mr. McGraw has served on the HAPL Membership Retention Committee as well as the annual HAPL Skeet Shoot Committee. He has been involved with the Spring Woods Middle School mentor program since 2010.
Chris Terrell, Landman

Biography:
Mr. Terrell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from the University of Texas, and a J.D. from South Texas College of Law. He began his career in the Oil and Gas Industry as a field landman, and spent several years working in the field for various brokers. He joined Cinco Energy Services in 2010, and quickly transitioned to the position of Project Manager. Mr. Terrell concentrates on title, leasing, and due diligence, for both domestic and international clients. His background in law enables him to focus on the minute details of a project while keeping an eye on the big picture. Mr. Terrell is a member of the HAPL and AAPL.
Amanda Van Deusen, JD, CPL, Senior Landman

Biography:
Ms. Van Deusen joined the Cinco Energy Services team as an in-house Senior Landman in January, 2010. She is a graduate of Austin College, and received a Bachelor of Arts in both Psychology and Accounting. Ms. Van Deusen also received her law degree (JD) from the University of Houston, and has since been putting her legal, financial, and oil and gas skills to good use as a Landman in Houston, Texas. She is currently a Project Manager for the Rockies and South Texas areas, where her extensive knowledge of land title examination, leasing, due diligence and oil and gas law has proved to be invaluable. Her superb management skills and vast wealth of knowledge make her an incredible asset to Cinco Energy Services. Ms. Van Deusen is a member of the AAPL, HAPL, and DAPL, as well as the Independent Petroleum Association of America.
L. Camille Nichols, Project Coordinator

Biography:
Ms. Nichols graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University. Thereafter she worked as a Policy Analyst for the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in Arlington, Virginia. She left the DHS after being awarded a research fellowship by the Fulbright Program and a language scholarship from US State Department. As a Fulbright Scholar, Ms. Nichols lived in Egypt and Bahrain while conducting a research initiative on culture and economy in conjunction with the University of Bahrain. After returning from abroad, she joined the Cinco Energy Services team, where she had previously worked as a Land Technician. As Project Coordinator, Ms. Nichols applies her research, organizational and multinational experience to facilitate projects across the US, and also acts as a liaison with many of Cinco Energy Service’s international clients.
W. Scott Gravitt, Rockies Division Land Managaer

Biography:
Mr. Gravitt earned a BA in Communications from the University of Houston and a JD from Southern Methodist University-Dedman School of Law. Scott began his career as an independent Landman with Cinco Energy Services in 2005, working projects in California and East Texas. He returned to Cinco in October, 2011, as the Rockies Division Land Manager after several years in-house with Rosetta Resources, Inc., and Enerplus Resources (USA) Corp.
His experiences as both an in-house and field Landman have prepared Mr. Gravitt to manage a wide array of projects, including due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures, lease checks and lease plays and seismic projects, regardless of a project’s geographic location. He is also experienced in drafting various documents such as JOA’s and farmouts/farmins, and he truly enjoys working with industry partners as well as landowners and other stakeholders in various Oil and Gas projects. Scott is a member of the DAPL and AAPL.
Kevin Johnson, Landman

Biography:
After graduating from high school Mr. Johnson joined the United States Marine Corps and served honorably as an Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter. After four years of military service, Mr. Johnson began working as field landman for Cinco Energy Services. In his six years with Cinco Energy Services Mr. Johnson has held various titles, assisted in Renewable Energy efforts, managed large projects, and worked in numerous counties within Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. His greatest strengths are his attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a fast pace environment.
Mr. Johnson is currently an active member of the AAPL, HAPL, WHAPL, NHAPL, and PIOGA. He has served on the HAPL Skeet Shoot Committee for the last two years and is soon to begin distance learning toward obtaining a BA in Organizational Leadership.
