Randy H. Nichols, CPL

Mr. Nichols has led Cinco Energy Management Group as Founder and President since 1990, and has been a growing force in the Energy Industry for the last 36 years. His powerful combination of knowledge, commitment to excellence, and leadership ability has helped shape Cinco into the respected industry leader that it is today.

Mr. Nichols was the chairman of the Technical Committee for the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), from 2010-2012 and received the AAPL Outstanding Committee Member Award in 2013. He was also the recipient of the Texas Independent Producers & Royalty Owners Best Landman Award in 2012 and named among the “Who’s Who in Energy” list compiled by the Houston Business Journal in 2013.

Mr. Nichols is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), Michael Late Benedum Chapter of AAPL, Houston Association of Professional Landmen, Denver Association of Professional Landmen, Energy Landman’s Breakfast Group, Houston Energy Finance Group, Houston Producers’ Forum, and the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators. He earned a BA from the University of Texas and is a Certified Professional Landman.

President

L. Camille Nichols, MBA

Ms. Nichols has been with Cinco Energy Management Group since 2010. She has since managed title, due diligence and land management projects in several states. She held the position of Director of Commercial Affairs from 2013 – 2018, directing the company’s international business development efforts and leading several strategic initiatives company-wide. From 2014 – 2017, Ms. Nichols served as the Acting Land Manager of Cinco’s Denver office, overseeing the company’s regional growth throughout the Greater Rockies area.

Prior to joining Cinco, she worked as a Policy Analyst for the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in Arlington, Virginia. She left the DHS after being awarded a research fellowship by the Fulbright Program from US Department of State. As a Fulbright Scholar, Ms. Nichols lived in Egypt and Bahrain while leading a research initiative on culture and economy in conjunction with the University of Bahrain. Ms. Nichols holds a BA from Georgetown University and an MBA from Rice University, where she focused on finance and entrepreneurship.

Senior Landman

Robert J. Keens, CPL

Mr. Keens is a Senior Landman with more than 15 years of oil and gas experience on leasing, title, mineral acquisition and land management projects, and specialized regional expertise within the Permian, Eagle Ford, Haynesville, and Niobrara shale plays. Prior to joining Cinco, Mr. Keens worked as a Senior Landman at Texas Oil Production where he developed and conducted in-depth operational strategies along the Gulf Coast.

Mr. Keens is an active member of the oil and gas community, holding current memberships with American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), West Houston Association of Professional Landmen (WHAPL), and the Houston Association of Professional Landmen (HAPL). Mr. Keens earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Leadership and Development from Texas A&M University and is a proud member of the Texas A&M Lettermen’s Association.

Title Manager

Traver Turney, CPL

Mr. Turney serves as a Landman and Project Manager at Cinco and has over 10 years of due diligence, title, leasing, land management and mineral acquisition experience in the Powder River Basin and Permian Basin, as well as in Oklahoma and Arkansas. Prior to joining Cinco, Mr. Turney worked as a Landman at Gary A. Monroe & Associates where he specialized in crafting ownership and due diligence reports by chaining title from patent to present, including multiple-zone HBP reports.

Mr. Turney is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landman (AAPL) and Denver Association of Professional Landman (DAPL). Mr. Turney also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Arkansas.

Project Manager

Audra D. Potts

Mrs. Potts is a Project Manager at Cinco focusing on oil and gas legal research and investigation with over seven years of experience in the industry. Her primary areas of expertise include creating project proposals, overseeing team training and development, and leading strategic projects from start to finish.

Prior to joining Cinco, Ms. Potts worked as a Research Consultant for Plano Data where she specialized in performing in depth internal and external historical/forensic research regarding litigation, claims, and land matters. Ms. Potts has also earned a Bachelor of Science from Midwestern State University.

Controller

Marie Keese, CPA

Ms. Keese has served as the Controller for Cinco Energy Management Group since June of 2008. Ms. Keese has managed corporate financial operations for fast-paced oil and gas companies for over 25 years. Prior to joining Cinco, she held the position of Business Planner for Saudi Aramco Oil Company. Ms. Keese has lived and worked in Malaysia, Trinidad, and Saudi Arabia, and is fluent in spoken and written Mandarin and Malay.

Ms. Keese is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs and the Houston CPA Society. She earned a BBA from the University of Houston and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the state of Texas. In 2013, Ms. Keese completed the Professional Land Management Certificate Program at University of Houston Downtown.
